Methyl cellulose (MC) are widely used as thickener,protective glue,auxiliary emulsification reagent,coloring matter,adhesive of tablets or coating forming reagent.Oral defecationreagent as well as bases collutory and eye dropreagent.Main raw materials of Oral defecation reagent and eye drop reagent,Also,it can be used as framework material .MC can be made to hydrophilic sol framework .Micro hole film coating or multi layer coating film It controlled released matrix reagent . MC with low viscosity is usually used as emulsification reagent of water packed oil emulsion while MC with high viscosity can be used as thickener ,adhesive agent suspending reagent and tablets agglutinate .MC can also e mixed with HPMC as film coating of tablets.MC is also widely used in industry line .
MC is used primarily in foods, drugs and cosmetics as a viscosifier, emulsion stabilizer, thickener and to improve texture. The main applications of technical grade are in textile warp sizing and paper processing. CMC is also used in detergent as a antiredeposition agent, textile warp-sizing aid, adhesives, latex paints and polishes.
